Hey there! Let's give this a shot, weekly Dev builds! This week was focused on rough-drafting of game loop. While we plan to build out each island as a a sort of theme park on its own, we want to make sure there's an overarching narrative and unified sense of progression. This week we will get our first taste. The Rig (The Hub? The Merchant Mecha Isle? Station?) will serve a the main hub town to start, providing shops, quest starts, interactions (both savory and otherwise), as well as a future player home. To not leave anyone in the dark, scrap material is the one collectable in game currently, it can be found by punching wrecks on each island and by using your ship's sonar and crane to snag treasure which can be used at the hub's upgrade stand to build more on to it!
